The Senior Technical Trainer will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of turbomachinery training programs and materials for our customers and employees. In addition, the successful candidate will provide a team of two Technical Trainers with technical consultation on materials and projects which require engineering support. The Senior Technical Trainer will also be responsible for developing and delivering new courses and materials.

Global travel is estimated at up to 25% (employees, customers, sub vendors, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Acquire an understanding of the company’s, product lines, procedures, service facilities, manufacturing facility and methods. Rapidly become a technical expert on Products.
  • Involved in direct customer interaction (coordinating training programs).
  • Training of customer personnel at the customer facility (i.e. refineries, chemical plants), company locations, or online.
  • Analyze, design, develop, deliver, and evaluate training programs and materials–from small to large, at any level of complexity for all products.

  • Mentor and provide technical consultation to Technical Trainers.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in an engineering, technical, or training-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Eight years of training experience, including classroom presentations, program development, project management, and the ability to grasp ideas and organize them into easily understood presentations, illustrations, and/or written descriptions.
  • Must have mechanical experience in repair, maintenance, operations, components, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment; rotating equipment preferred.
  • Individual must have good communication skills (verbal and written), organization skills, and computer skills, (experience with PowerPoint, MS Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, etc.)

The Account Manager is responsible for effectively promoting, quoting and securing new equipment opportunities in addition to building and maintaining customer relationships.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Penetrate new equipment market, evaluate new potential customers, increase brand and product awareness, and open new markets.
  • Develop key client relationships including at the executive level.

Qualifications:

The Sales Engineer obtains assigned bookings and acts as the principal customer interface and advocate for aftermarket products and services. This includes but is not limited to the following rotating equipment: pumps, steam turbines, compressors, gear box, expanders, etc. Acquires skills and experience in various repair procedures. Identifies potential markets currently not being penetrated, for future sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Obtain assigned bookings on aftermarket products and services to ensure budgeted sales revenue.
  • Develop existing customers, pursuing both traditional and non-traditional products.
  • Identify and contact new customers to further expand sales base and revenue potential. This includes, but is not limited to, face-to-face calls, phone contact, cold calls, trade show participation, prospecting, etc.
  • Daily maintenance of CRM program, documenting customer opportunities, contacts, and disposition of existing opportunities from inquiry to order.

The successful candidate will be a key member of the Leadership Team reporting to the CEO of a 400 million dollar plus transportation and distribution business. He or she must have a strong personality and willingness to make change. The CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for non-operational support functions of the company. The CNC Supervisor has total responsibility for departmental day-to-day activities including the planning and delegating of workload for the Manufacturing Engineering Department. This individual will manage a staff of CNC Programmers and/or Manufacturing Engineers, who generate step-by-step, preplanned manufacturing methods and/or processes, including the planning and/or procurement of required tooling (fixtures, cutting tools, CNC programs). They will support new programs by developing new manufacturing processes, designing tooling, equipment and developing production methods. Additionally, they will need to select and/or recommend new manufacturing equipment to ensure satisfactory implementation of the planned manufacturing production.

Responsibilities:

  • Design tooling and/or manufacturing equipment of varying types for use in the manufacturing of the Company’s products.
  • Develops manufacturing processes, methods, and production plans for new parts and/or subassemblies, including complete CNC machine programs. Supervises their implementation to ensure satisfactory utilization

The Global Business Leader is to provide both long term strategic and daily direction for Engineered Solutions on opportunities for rerating and modifying equipment as well as leading business growth. It has primary accountability for increasing Engineered Solutions opportunity pipeline and achieving financial goals (primarily orders, but also revenue and operating income). The position is designed to accomplish opportunity pipeline growth and the development and implementation of marketing strategies

Travel is required and expected to be 25-50%, domestic and international.

Responsibilities:

JOB SUMMARY:
The Manager of Health, Safety and Environmental assures that the fabricating facility maintains a safety, health and environmental program to meet/exceed all compliance requirements of OSHA, EPA, DOE and our clients. The position will implement and improve upon all aspects of the Corporate Safety Program to maintain a safe and healthy workplace for our employees. Key responsibilities will include but not limited to accident prevention and incident management, risk management, training programs, corrective actions, emergency preparedness, and the prevention of Environmental spills, releases and violations.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Order suspension of activities that pose threats to workers’ health and safety.
  • Manage workplace hazards to as low As Reasonably Possible (ALARP) through documented training, JHA’s, Work Instructions, and accountability.
  • Recommend measures to help protect workers from potentially hazardous work methods, processes, or materials.
  • Lead and support incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions for all injuries, illnesses and equipment damages so accidents might be prevented in the future.
  • Develop and maintain industrial hygiene program including noise surveys, air quality and temperature sampling, illumination, and exhaust ventilation.
  • Inspect and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices, in order to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
  • Maintain the BU Safety manual and supporting program documentation to ensure compliance with all local, state, federal and corporate requirements applicable to workplace safety
  • Conduct safety training and education programs and provide demonstrations as necessary.

Provide experienced technical and administrative direction to Shop Supervisors and support personnel to insure product shipments are manufactured to establish lead times, at or below costs, support company cash flow objectives, and to generate annually 50,000 to 100,000 absorption hours. Plan and control long-term and daily shop operations.
Interface with Production Control, Maintenance, Quality Assurance and Product Engineers. Maintain control of key operating indicators such as: Safety parameters, Efficiency, Scrap & Rework, Production Schedules, Expense Budgets, Capital Plan, Staffing, etc. Participates in Continuous Improvement pertaining to Administration, Product Design, Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering and overall Company Improvements.

This is a hands-on Engineer with direct experience working with turbomachinery repairs. The principal activities of the job involve collecting, analyzing, consolidating, and communicating product and technical information regarding assigned Turbine / Compressor apparatus lines.

Estimated 25% domestic and international travel.

Responsibilities

  • Executes service engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, computer programs and criteria which may involve independent action and decision.
  • Assists Field Service Engineers in resolving technical matters or developing repair procedures pertaining to installation, start-up, operation, repair and maintenance problems. Can be called upon to execute these activities.
  • Can make personal visitations to customers and equipment installations to obtain first-hand information when troubles exist. Responsible for assisting more senior engineers in investigating, developing, presenting, and implementing corrective steps.
  • Familiar with vibration diagnostic processes for purpose of analyzing and documenting field vibration problems, consulting with others to develop corrective action and issuing formal reports.
  • Collaborates with other departments to insure prompt and effective problem-solving of reported field troubles for assigned product line.
  • Performs liaison functions with other engineering departments on the specification, manufacturing, assembly, material quality, testing, repair, performance and operation, for assigned product(s). Includes consulting with field service, service parts, and service repair on field trouble jobs, defective parts, rebuilds, rework, etc., and to rerate group on new parts orders, engineering studies and design changes.
  • Responsible for developing and conducting assigned string field performance test under supervision of Senior Service Engineer.
  • Initiate drafting requests and approve layout and detail drawings relating to field problems and service order requests.
  • Initiates Service Authorizations for record change parts required on trouble jobs and informs supervisor of status.
  • Reviews Serviceman’s Reports for re-occurring and possible resolution of field problems.

Position Responsibilities – General

The Senior Project Scheduler is a key member of the Project Controls team and works directly with Project Managers, Project Engineers, Fabrication Shops, and vendors to help support the project’s goals and objectives.

The Senior Project Scheduler responsibilities support the Sales/Proposal team in development of P6 resource loaded schedules during the proposal phase and maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Extensive knowledge of Primavera Scheduling software is a must. Responsibilities will also include managing Earned Value reports, and support company-wide capacity planning.

As part of the Project Controls team, the Senior Project Scheduler will attend kickoff meetings and project team meetings. The Senior Project Scheduler will coordinate with the Project Managers, Project Engineers, Quality group, Purchasing department and Fabrication shop during the execution stage of a project. This will include weekly updates in the project schedule, weekly Earned Value reporting, and providing weekly progress reports to Project Managers. The main goal of the Senior Project Scheduler is to assist Project Managers in achieving a successful project execution.

Under the direction of the Manager of Project Controls, perform schedule analysis and monitoring of project submittals via our Document Controls Automation Program. The Senior Project Scheduler must be capable of communicating information accurately between departments, in a timely manner, as well as being comfortable dealing with all levels of management.

Requires advanced knowledge of P6 and Excel to create project specific worksheets. Exposure to Earned Value Management (EVM) is strongly preferred.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

· BS Degree in Engineering, Project Management or Business preferred.

· 5-8 yrs of experience as a planner/scheduler field of power and refinery heat transfer equipment a plus.

· Primavera Scheduling Software (P6) and MS Project experience required.

· Proficiency in the use of general business software, Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes.

· Project Management Professional (PMP) a plus
